Web-first. Three tiers.
Whet runs in your browser by default. We cover the LLM cost on every web tier so you start without configuring keys. The Desktop app unlocks on Pro for power users who want to bring their own LLM key or agent CLI.

The catalog stays the same on every tier. What changes is how many sources you can run at once.

Team & custom
Five seats or more? Custom needs?
Team plans add shared workspaces, role-based access, audit logging and consolidated billing. We'll open Team formally once Pro has real traction; until then, drop us a line and we'll work out a Team trial. Custom integrations and Enterprise SSO available on inquiry.
- Managed LLM on every web tier. Whet absorbs the cost of running Gemini Flash-Lite (Free, Basic) and Flash (Pro web) so you can focus on the signal. The Desktop tier flips this: you bring your own key or agent CLI and the cap goes away.
- BYOK and BYOA live on the Desktop tier. Pro unlocks the desktop app, where you can bring an API key (Gemini, Claude, OpenAI) or delegate to a local agent CLI (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex). The web tiers stay managed for the no-config experience.
- Sources are catalog-based, not sold by the source. Reddit, YouTube, Hacker News, RSS and any public URL are available on every tier. The cap is on simultaneous active sources (2, 5, 15), not on the catalog itself.
- Your data stays scoped to your account. We process sources and LLM responses to do the analysis. We never aggregate, sell or share customer data across accounts. Desktop with BYOK or BYOA processes locally; we see nothing of the LLM payload.
